Ranger claims Practical Caravan Magazine's Tourer of the Year 2009 title
The Bailey Ranger GT60 540/6 Series 6 has claimed Practical Caravan Magazine's Tourer of the Year 2009 title.
In presenting the award Practical Caravan Magazine Editor, Nigel Donnelly, said "We're delighted to see a new range of tourers that addresses the current issues of high fuel prices and tight budgets. This response is combined with the 540/6's comfortable interior and family friendly design. We're proud to call it our 2009 Tourer of the Year".
"At just over £12,000 you get real value for money. We can't think of another caravan that's as well equipped, yet so keenly priced" he added.
The Ranger 500/5 Series 6 also impressed by securing the Best Caravan for Small Families title. The Pageant Series 7 Champagne also won a runner up award in this category confirming the Bristol based company's strength in this sector of the market.
To complete an excellent overall result for Bailey the Senator Carolina Series 6 won a runner up award in the Best Caravan for Large Families whilst the Ranger 540/6 Series 6 was also a runner up in the Best Rally Caravan class - meaning that models from all four of the company's current product ranges received recognition from the UK's best selling caravanning magazine.
Bailey already enjoys an excellent track record in this competition, winning the Tourer of the Year award three times in the past five years - with the Ranger GT60 540/6 following in the footsteps of both the Pageant Series 5 Champagne (in 2004) and the Senator Series 5 Indiana (in 2005).
