Another successful year for Crossburn
There were reasons to celebrate at the recent SECC Show for one Scottish Coachman dealer. Crossburn Caravans, which is based in Peebles, picked up the Scottish Dealer of the Year award for the thirteenth year in a row, thanks to record sales of Coachman vans.
Crossburn displayed 10 Coachman caravans at the show, selling 30 in total. The Crossburn stand was themed the “Great British holiday”, complete with deck chairs and sandcastles, to encourage the idea of holidaying at home. Many families attended the show and Coachman’s family models sold well, reflecting the growing trend for swapping holidays in Europe for the UK.
Colin Chisholm, owner of Crossburn Caravans, said:
“Due to an exceptional season last year, this has not quite been our best ever year, however, our sales have still been extremely strong. Although there has been a slight improvement in the economic environment, many families are still opting to holiday within the UK, and we believe we will continue to see strong sales throughout the season.”
Coachman Managing Director, Jim Hibbs, was on hand to present the award at the show in Glasgow.
Jim said:
“We’d like to congratulate Colin and his team on another successful year, both here at the SECC and in general. Crossburn’s sales regularly exceed expectation and they are dedicated to providing the best customer care in the industry. The award we have presented them with, for the thirteenth year running, certainly shows they must be doing something right!”
